Redlands has a rich sporting history, one that our community deserves to be proud of. The Hall of Fame is the permanent record of that achievement. It recognises those who have had a profound impact on sport through achieving excellence, leaving a legacy that transcends their sporting achievements. Inductees have influenced local communities and the wider general population, positioning themselves as an integral part of history in Redlands

Award Categories

Volunteer of the Year

Nominees provide services to their club and/or sport in a volunteer capacity. Their services have had a significant and positive impact on the growth and development of their sport and broader community connection.  

Nominees provide services to their club and/or sport in either a paid or un-paid position. They build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, drive community engagement, and foster a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for participants. 

Nominees have achieved excellence in their sport whilst fostering a safe, friendly environment for all stakeholders. They have also strived to contribute to the development of less experienced officials and as a result strengthened the future of their sport. 

Nominees have developed programs and/or initiatives that aim to increase participation and foster a greater sense of community within their club and/or sport. They promote good governance, and provide opportunity for a diverse range of people to participate. 

Nominees have had a deep impact on teams and/or individual performances at local, state, national or international levels. They have demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic skills whilst being a positive role model and mentor within their sport. 

Nominees have achieved excellence in their sport, performing at a regional, state, national or international level of competition. They have often overcome challenges whilst remaining a positive role model for younger athletes and having an impact beyond their performance. 

Nominees are aged 50+ and have achieved excellence in their sport, performing at a regional, state, national or international level of competition. They have often overcome challenges whilst remaining a positive role model for younger athletes and having an impact beyond their performance.
